In Google AdWords, you can create your own custom labels for your products. Custom labels are used to subdivide your product catalog using values of your choosing,

for example you may want to label certain products as best selling, seasonal, or year of release. Custom labels are for your own personal use; customers do not see any

of these labels while shopping.

Access to your product data in Merchant Center is necessary in order to custom label your products. You can have up to 5 custom labels of your choosing, and each label can

only have one value per product. Below is a given example of how custom labels may be used:

The following images will demonstrate how to access your custom labels on your Google Adwords account:


1) Sign in to your Google AdWords account: Google AdWords Sign in


2) As soon as you sign in, click on the "Campaigns" tab at the top of the page. 

3) You will I see a list of campaigns under the "Campaigns" tab, click the campaign you wish to access your custom labels. 


4) A list of ad groups comes up, click the ad group you wish to work on:

5) You will now arrive at a list of product groups as show below. Click on the pencil icon next to the product group you wish to edit:

6) You can now subdivide your products as you please, and put whatever products you wish to choose in your custom labels.
