Inputs into CrescoData are specific.

We're provided the following guide to try and make things easy for you (the client) and streamline the process so we get it right first time.

CrescoData accept many feeds.
We can accept feeds via a file, or vie an API. I've detailed the requirements of each below:

METHOD 1 (File to CrescoData)

Client to send through to CrescoData a standard file.

In principal, the more fields you can add, the better it is as it will allow us to enhance the feed in the future without the necessity of development changes on your side.

Having said that, the minimum fields requirements are

  • Description
  • URL
  • Title
  • Availability/Stock
  • Images
  • ID
  • Brand
  • Price
  • Sale_Price
  • Product_Type.

These fields do not need to be cleaned. We can setup rules on our side so a simple dump from the database will do.

Any file format is supported (common ones are: JSON, XML, JSONL, CSV, TSV, TXT, SQL)·

The feed can be a full dump or a delta file. It should be refreshed at least once a day

You can send this file to us via FTP or we can retrieve it regularly from you via any of the following methods:

  • (S)FTP
  • Public URL
  • Authenticated URL

METHOD 2 (API):

CrescoData connects to your platform through an API.

Some companies already have a platform in place - through which we can directly connect via an API key.

An API key requires the following data fields

  • image
  • stock or availability
  • link/url
  • price and sale price
  • description
  • category
  • title
  • sku
  • brand
